Not the words you want your doctor to say...

Well today I went to see the doc.....he said I had 2 options now.....a different HIGH dose of a hormone he has not ever used but should work....or hysterectomy. YIKES!!!! He than took a look at my up and down incision from my 3 previous csections...and said lets go to my office. That usually does not mean good news.....

He proceeded to tell me I was EXTREME HIGH RISK if I had to have a hysterectomy....that my surgery would not be easy in anyway and the risks are great!!! NOT WORDS YOU WANT TO HEAR FROM YOUR DOCTOR!!!!!!!! There are two reasons....my uterus is small and my WEIGHT!!!!! It finally caught up with me.....he said because of my weight Im EXTREMELY likely to get blod clots in my legs or lungs and other complications .....hmmm SO of course I chose this medicine he was looking up in his texts at high dosages. I get one month on this medicine...and if it does not work.....surgery is my ONLY option. Of course I got home saw Sean and started to cry......its one of my biggest fears.....dying during surgery or in the previous years during c sections. Yea I thought the worse BUT thats me and I make no excuses....

So tomorrow I start the medication which is scarey in itself considering the usage for this medicine is for cancer patients....On the pamphlet but it can help periods too apparently....so prayers are needed and we will see in 30 days :)

  1. My best friend had similar issues with bleeding. She had a procedure done called Oblation. she is not sure how to spell it. Some people after it is done do not have periods afterwards, some have lite ones.

Grandma says she wants you to get another opinion. Was this an OBGYN or regular doctor?

But we will pray for you.

  2. I had the uterine ablation a year and half ago right before Ian had his heart surgery. It worked for a year and a couple months than i started up again. This was my OBGYN that I have had since Kayden...I trust him.

    Thank you for the prayers!
